Our truck heats the water to 220 f. providing

the steam to actually clean your carpets 

and remove all spots, dirt, and grime.

  CLEANING MATERIAL EQUIPMENT/PROCESS ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES
STEAM Non-foaming detergents. Hot water under pressure Hot water under high pressure sprayed on carpet - simultaneously vacuumed out. Combination pressure-spray-power/vac Deep cleaning. Removes heavy soil. Minimal residue. Safe for all carpeting. Can be done relatively quickly Requires skilled operator. Carpet may be damp for several hours.
SHAMPOO Sudsing detergent Rotary brush (sometimes in combination with wet/vac or extractor) feeds shampoo into carpet-wet or dry vac to finish Relatively low cost. Loosens heavy soil. Effective for commercial/level loop carpets Brushing action can cause severe pile damage. Possible damage from over-wetting. Rapid re-soiling. Not recommended for residential carpeting
DRY FOAM Super foaming detergent Machine with rotating cylindrical brushes works foam into carpet pile-followed by wet/vac Dries fairly quickly. Operator does not need extensive experience Brushing action can damage cut pile & shag. Leaves detergent residue. Surface cleaning only
DRY POWDER Detergents, dry cleaning agents & solvents in absorbent compound Power brush. Vacuum cleaner. Compound sprinkled on, brushed in with power brush. Vacuum removes residue Dries fast. No danger of shrinkage. Safe for most dyes. Operator needs little training Time consuming/costly. Difficult to remove all compound residue. Will not remove heavy, deeply imbedded soil. Danger of flaring
MIST PAD Fine mist of cleaners Mist applied to surface with sprayer. Rotary driven absorbent pads to remove soil. Dries fairly quickly. Causes little damage. Surface cleaning only. Requires skill to apply proper amount of spray. Leaves residue.
BY HAND Detergent foam Sponges work foam into carpet-clean sponges used to remove residue (usually done by hand) Minimal pile damage. Loosens soil. Costly. Time consuming. Rapid re-soiling due to detergent residue
